This past weekend I was so lucky to see my best friends from college! We had not all been together in over a year, so this weekend was very special. My best friend Kim was in a play in Lynchburg so it was a great time to get together. I did a dinner on Friday night for everyone, then it was off to the L-burg for dinner and the musical. It so much harder to get together these days. Between the 5 of us we have 5 kids, 8 dogs, 4 husbands, and I think someone has a couple of goldfish. Congrats Kim on a job well done, you were fabulous!

The past 3 months have gone by so quickly! I know people tell you that all the time but you don't believe them until you have a baby of your own. She now loves to talk, loves to watch TV (especially hockey and MTV music videos), go to the mall with her mother, and just be the happy baby that she is. Speaking of talking, I was at the mall last night with Baby G in one of our favorite stores Gymboree. I was debating on which articles of clothing to by her so I decided to hold them up for baby to see. Keep in mind the entire time I'm in the store I am basically talking to baby non-stop. I look around and people are staring. Does no one else talk to their 3 month old? And yes, she does know what I'm saying.
Busy weekend ahead. Sister's bridal shower, hauling the baby to my hometown, and MOTHERS day!! I did remind my husband today that yes in fact this year I am a mom. I would just love to sleep in on Sunday as my gift, but he's on 24 hour call on Saturday and won't be home to after the baby is already awake. So much for that plan, so I guess jewelry will just have to do. :) Did I remind you that I'm on the princess plan? That's all for now, have a great weekend everyone!
